Virginia Bernal Noriega, DMD, MS
Dr. Noriega is committed to providing our patients with superior orthodontic care using the latest in technology and medical advances. Her goal is to give you the best smile, with a philosophy that includes having fun in the office and establishing long-lasting friendships with our patients and their families.
Background
Born in northern New Jersey, she did her undergraduate studies in biology and psychology at Rutgers University. She earned her doctorate in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. In her fourth year of dental training, she completed an orthodontic externship in Madrid, Spain, where she learned about dentistry from a global perspective.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Noriega entered a post-graduate residency in hospital dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston.
Dr. Noriega obtained her Master of Science degree from Loma Linda University in Southern California, where she earned her certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. She is a member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Southwest Society of Orthodontists and the American Association of Orthodontists. She is an active supporter of our patients and contributes to many athletic teams and educational activities.
Dr. Noriega is fluent in Spanish. Her parents emigrated from Colombia, South America and reinforced the importance of family, tradition and the Latino culture throughout her life.
Family
Dr. Noriega and her husband, Hector, are proud parents of Matthew and Alessandra. The Noriega family is always on the go: from traveling to the kids’ sports, they enjoy being active. When not treating patients, you may bump into Dr. Noriega around Towne Lake and Cypress.
